Make sure your Trailblazer wears blue, yellow, or school spirit wear this Wednesday, May 6th!

We’re excited to welcome KMBC 9 First Alert Weather Meteorologist and News Chopper 9 to Santa Fe as they talk with our Trailblazers about weather safety. Be sure to tune in Wednesday to catch us on the news at 4:00, 5:00, 6:00, 9:00, and 10:00—and again on the morning news Thursday!

In preparation for the helicopter landing, the Independence Police Department will be securing the perimeter of our school grounds. Independence Fire Department will also be on site with a truck to participate. Please ensure your Trailblazer arrives on time so they don't miss the fun!

If you would like to view the landing, you are welcome to do so from the field located north of the preschool building.

Today we had so much fun celebrating two very special teachers, Ms. Smith and Mrs. McLaughlin, who are both turning 50 this year! 💚✨

We went all out with a Wicked-themed celebration—complete with a Yellow Brick Road and everything Oz-inspired! Mrs. McLaughlin took on the role of Glinda, while Ms. Smith embraced her inner Elphaba, and it couldn’t have been more perfect.
