The Indee Mat Club Program is here to provide opportunities for young athletes and build their character through teamwork, skill building and competition. Families involved with our wrestling program often say that Indee Wrestling is a family. Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade wrestlers practice on specific week days during the months of December, January, and February. During March practices te

nd to be only for wrestlers who plan to compete at AAU districts, AAU state or USA state. Ultimately our program feeds into the Independence High School Wrestling team. Independence High School Wrestling competes in the WaMaC Conference.

Shoutout to Natalie Frye, Izzy Postel and Lexi Postel who wrestled this weekend.

Izzy and Lexi wrestled in duals and individual tournament at Cowboy Rumble in Branson, MO.

Natalie (4-1) wrestled at AAU Olympic duals in Des Moines and was selected as MVP of her team.

Braylen Bieber, Carter Eddy, Gable Eddy, Payton Kimmerle, and Beckett Loughren represented Team Iowa in the 2026 USA Wrestling Greco Roman Junior Nationals Tournament in Fargo. Carter Eddy earned All-American honors placing 8th at 215 lbs. The Junior team placed 2nd in the nation and the 16u team became National Champions again for the 3rd year a row!
