Preschool will be providing hamburgers, hot dogs, buns for both, ketchup, mustard, mayo, dessert, plates, utensils, and ice.

Last names A-H please bring a side (chips, fruit, etc.)
Last names I-R please bring drinks (lemonade, soda, etc.)- We will have pitchers of water available
Last names S-Z please bring toppings (lettuce, tomato, pickles, cheese etc.)

Weather permitting we will be outside, so please bring lawn chairs and any lawn activities you would like. We will have lots of fun activities including a photo booth, seeds to help plant our memory garden, crafts, sidewalk chalk, face painting, a large jenga set and more.

If possible, please bring new and unopened craft supplies to be donated to Children's Mercy Hospital.
Donations could include:
Non-toxic crayons - small packs of 8-16, Crayola preferred

Non-toxic washable markers - small packs of 8-10, fine and broad point

Child and adult coloring books

Colored pencils

Art activity kits

Stickers and sticker books

Play-Doh and Model Magic

Beloved Family, Friends, and Community,
For over forty years, Great Beginnings Preschool has been a place where children have grown in faith, love, and learning. It has been our joy to partner with families in helping little ones discover God’s love and explore His world in a Christ-centered community.

After much prayer and reflection, we must share the difficult news that, due to continued low enrollment, the preschool will close at the end of this school year.

We are deeply grateful to every child, family, teacher, and supporter who has shaped this ministry over the decades. Though our doors will close, the seeds planted here will continue to grow in the lives of the many children we’ve been blessed to serve.

This summer, we will host a reunion picnic for former students, families, staff, and friends—a chance to reconnect, reminisce, and give thanks. It will be on Friday, June 5th at 6pm. More details to come.

As we finish this final year, we remain committed to the same love, excellence, and faith that have guided us from the beginning. We trust God’s provision and step forward with gratitude for all He has done.
