The Career & Technology Center at Fort Osage

The Career & Technology Center at Fort Osage Serving the school districts of Blue Springs, Fort Osage, Grain Valley, and Oak Grove. To keep our page focused, we have set some comment guidelines.

We welcome your comments as a means of sharing your own experiences, suggesting improvements or chiming in on the conversation. This page is moderated and all comments are reviewed by the Fort Osage School District Public Relations Department.

2. To ensure exchanges that are informative, respectful of diverse viewpoints and lawful, we will not allow comments that are:

- Off Topic. We will dele

te comments not related to the subject of the page entries.

- Spam. Comments focused on selling a product or service will not be posted.

-Inaccurate. Posts that include misinformation will be removed.

- Personal Attacks. If you disagree with a post, we'd like to hear from you. We do ask that you refrain from personal attacks or being disrespectful of others.

- Illegal. Laws that govern use of copyrights, trade secrets, etc., will be followed.

- Language. Comments including but not limited to: profane or provocative language, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive or derogatory content, threats, obscene or sexually explicit language will be deleted. The moderator also deletes news items that are out-of-date or no longer timely.

We're excited to see the second half of our CTC family tonight! Thank you for the flexibility and patience with the adjustments to our times. It's the first time in CTC history we've had to offer three sessions due to increased enrollment, and that's in no small part because of our amazing community!

A couple reminders for some of our programs are included below.

⛑Construction Trades sessions are at the Construction Training Academy behind Fire Prairie.
📈Entrepreneurial Studies sessions are at the Campus Grounds Coffee Shop.
🌼Agriculture is hosting new students at 5:30 p.m. and returning students at 6:30 p.m.
🛠9th and 10th graders enrolled in Foundations, Connections, Geometry, and Robotics have alternate sessions. Check your email for specific times.

A big thank you to all the parents who came out for the CTC at Blue Springs night! It was wonderful seeing familiar faces and meeting so many new parents.

We also want to extend our congratulations to the Career Innovation Center on their beautiful new school, and our thanks to the Blue Springs School District for providing incredible learning spaces and labs.

The past two days have been amazing! Competitive puzzle races, new classroom strategies to support our students' unique learning opportunities, and a lot of laugh-out-loud moments with our crazy crew 💙 We're so excited for the 2026-2027 school year.
