Reminder!
We are looking forward to serving our families at central enrollment for the 2026-27 school year, which will be held at Independence High School.
August 4: Noon-7 PM
August 5: 9 AM - 6 PM
Sports physicals and immunizations will be offered (please arrive at least 1 hour before close to utilize these services), and 6th-12th grade students will have the opportunity to get school pictures taken. If your student is new to the district, please bring a copy of immunization records and a birth certificate.
Returning families should have received a welcome packet with forms to complete and bring. If you did not receive this, please call or stop by the board of education office today.
The board office will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday as all staff will be helping at central enrollment.
We encourage families to complete online registration prior to coming to central enrollment for an expedited experience. To register your child, you'll go to https://www.indyschools.com/ and select the Registration Tab at the top of the homepage.
If none of the children you're enrolling attended USD 446 in the 2025-26 school year, you'll select New Family to begin.
If any of the children you're enrolling attended USD 446 in the 2025-26 school year, you'll select Existing Family to begin. In the online registration application for existing families, you will be able to add new students. Existing Families will need their online portal Username and Password. If you don't remember this information, you may contact the Board of Education at 620-332-1800. The first screen you'll see when you start an application is a page that lists the students included in this application. If a student who attended USD 446 in 2025-26 is missing from this list, STOP, and contact the board of education office before proceeding.
IMPORTANT: Please do not select New Family if any of the children you're enrolling attended USD 446 in 2025-26. This causes duplication, errors, and additional work for staff to merge this information.
All families must attend Centralized Enrollment on August 4 or 5 at Independence High School, and we can’t wait to greet you!
