TONIGHT’S All State prep adventure was 14 of our kiddos going to NKU for their annual All State prep session! THREE of our kiddos elected to perform in quartets, and our tenors even got to spend an extra hour with me today in sectionals. What a blast of a night, and the product was stunning!

Visitor #2 as we prepare for state was Professor Isaac Brooks from Asbury University today! Professor Brooks gave us some awesome ideas for our phrasing and ways to be more expressive. He also has an extensive background in bluegrass music, and he showed guitar class how what they’ve learned can apply to bluegrass music. It was a blast having him!
