📣 Kenton Elementary is accepting nominations/applications for a Minority Parent Representative to serve on our School-Based Decision-Making (SBDM) Council!
If you are a parent of a Kenton Elementary student for the 2026–2027 school year and meet the eligibility requirements, you can nominate a parent or apply yourself.
📝 Applications/Nominations due: Friday, October 23
🗳️ Voting: Monday, October 25 – Thursday, October 29
📢 Winner announced: Friday, October 30
The SBDM Council helps make important decisions that impact our school, students, and families. Representatives attend monthly meetings and required training.
👉 If you or someone you know would be a great candidate, please complete the application and include a brief explanation of why they would be a good representative.
