River's EDGE Sport & Fitness Multi-use facility with 9 indoor cages, HitTRAX, variety of pitching machines, 24hr access, golf hitting area, and rental room with kitchenette.

River'sEDGE Sport & Fitness is a 19,000 square foot multi-purpose facility owned by the City of Independence and operated by the Independence Parks & Recreation Department. This building includes: 3,000 square foot fitness/ multi-purpose room, a 756 square foot rental room that serves as space for the dance classes held twice a week as well as a birthday party room, 5 batting cages on turf with v

arious types of pitching machines (including an ATEC arm machine, Baseball Batting Tutor top loading automated single wheeled machine, Softball Batting Tutor top loading automated single wheeled softball machine, Par-Tee Golf Simulator, 2 golf cages,1 Par-Tee Hunting Simulator, 310 ft indoor walking track, shuffleboard court, 2 bags courts. We also have pitching mounds that may be used inside our batting cages, batting tees, soft toss machines for baseballs and softballs and single wheel Jugs pitching machines for your use. Future purchases for River'sEDGE will include a 2nd Gold Simulator, the Triple Play Basic 3 wheel baseball pitching machine and the Triple Play Basic 3 wheel softball pitching machine.

After going back and forth we have decided to have 9U play 9u, we considered making them a 10A and adding some 10u kids but competitively it would be way more difficult.

Unfortunately we will only have 2 teams at this age group, there were not enough to make a 10A team.
