This fall approximately 50 new teachers will join the Fort Osage Family 👩🏫 They come to us filled with enthusiasm, fresh ideas, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of their students 💡 Yet, before the first bell rings, many of these teachers will spend their own hard-earned money purchasing classroom supplies, books, organizational materials, decorations, and countless other items needed to create a welcoming and engaging learning environment 📝
They do it because they care. They do it because they want every student who enters their classroom to feel valued, supported, and ready to learn....but we want these educators to know that they are not alone 👈
Our goal is to raise $2,500 so we can provide each of our 50 new teachers with a $50 gift card to help offset some of their classroom expenses. While $50 may seem like a small gesture, it sends a powerful message:
