The Empower Conference.

Empower gives students more background on SkillsUSA while also teaching leadership skills to better their communities. It is a multi day event where students get to do something different every day.

In these pictures you get to see the students who were able to have fun at the empower conference, and a little fun secret: they got their Statesman awards!

The Fire Science & EMT class practicing for the upcoming SkillsUSA competitions next week! We wish them luck!

In this picture you see Caden, Emily and Eiley cutting into the metal of an old desk. The saws are used to help extricate victims out of sticky situations so it’s important for them to know how the saws work.

*It may look dangerous but we can assure you, they are in a very controlled environment and have someone watching over them*

Our SkillsUSA class representatives learning in the 2022 Elevate virtual meeting! Here members learned how to better lead and preform tasks. Class representatives also talked about how to get members involved and how to inspire them to compete.
