Funny name -- but, if you are feeling like you might be hungry for a taste of Greek, this could be the ticket! Serve with a tossed salad, bread and a glass of wine and you will think you have died and gone to heaven!

This is a great recipe for gingerbread cookies...I like this even better than my mom's. Yes, there is black pepper in the recipe....it makes such a difference. Give them a try and tell us what you think!

Thanks to your support, we've SOLD OUT for our cooking class tonight at the Cedar House in Truckee! All proceeds go to Project MANA (hunger relief for North Tahoe/Truckee) and Los Médicos Voladores (flying doctors to SE California, Mexico, Central & South America).

Roasted chestnuts...those we used in our Side By Side class Stuffing Recipe are available in the markets now. Trader Joes has the Italian variety and World Market the French variety. Good prices too.
