The early years of childhood form the basis for later development. The preschool program at Incline Village Nursery School fosters social development, creativity and emotional and physical well being in a caring environment designed to give your child a positive self-image. Our program is developmentally appropriate to the demands of early childhood and is executed with attention to the needs and

differences of the individual children in a group. We believe a child learns and discovers much about his/her world through play. The environment is child-centered and reflects the children's interests. Children are active, sensory learners and we offer many opportunities for self chosen exploration, social interaction and problem solving.

And that's a wrap! This feels like it should be a sad photo, our lively, colorful, classroom that is always filled with love and giggles is now empty, cold, and eerily quiet. But it's not, it's a JOYOUS photo!! After 27 years at St. Patrick's church it's time for us to turn the page on a new chapter. We are so excited for this next chapter to include all the liveliness, color, giggles, and love as the last, but this time in a beautiful new classroom. In a building that has welcomed us, and is cheering us on to succeed and grow in our new home. We are overjoyed to be starting this new chapter today, and on the summer solstice! It feels serendipitously perfect. Happy summer from IVNS - we are OUTTA HERE. 🌞❤️

Happy Graduation to our favorite humans! We had an absolutely perfect graduation day last week, and now we pack up the classroom and MOVE OUT! Thank you to all of the families, alumni, and community members who have kept us afloat this year, we couldn't have done it without you.

Our annual Art Show is complete! We had a great showing of amazing art this past Friday, and the kids worked extra hard on all of these beautiful pieces. Thank you to the families and community members who came out to support our budding artists, and to our teachers for working so hard to get it all finished and ready for display. So much love goes into this art show each year.

Next up: graduation, and our BIG MOVE to our new home! 🌼

We had a super fun impromptu round of musical coloring this week, and everyone loved it! This is a great way to bring the group together and lower everyone's energy level while creating cool art, and listening to different types of music.

We hope you caught a leprechaun today, and were very kind to it and fed it rainbows and chocolate, and set it free with a pocket full of gold. Only after a round of 100 questions of course! 🍀

Miss Lindsay takes the cake for hardest working, most committed, loved by everyone, silliest teacher ever. This girl shows up on her days off to check in, follows up with families after-hours when extra support is needed, goes to student games & events after school, makes sure everyone is taken care of in their own way, has bent over backwards to help us find a new home, and even lets Holland ride on her back while reading. We could make a list 10 miles long why we love Miss Lindsay so much. Thank you for making IVNS so amazing!
