As promised, here is the *bonus* post from our PRO III class from last week, where each student prepared two different tapas to share.

Traditionally, tapas are considered Spanish appetizers...there are even restaurants around the world with menus dedicated entirely to tapas. 📜 In the broader context, they're just considered appetizers, small bites, or small sharable plates of any kind. 🍽️

Our 1st year students continue to hone & perfect their knife skills in the kitchen. 🔪

This week, they also began cooking different vegetables using different cooking methods.

First up, cutting carrots 🥕 using the oblique cut...steaming and finishing with a sweet honey glaze. 🍯

Next, utilizing the fryer to fry up some zucchini 🥒 & onion rings. 🧅
