Hi,

This is another reminder about the 1st Step Event to be held at IVC tomorrow Saturday, May 14 from 8am to 1pm. Many good opportunities to learn and workshops to be informed about the IVC process towards registration, financial aid, etc. Many free giveaways! Free Lunch!

Talent Search will also be having a special workshop tomorrow for our ETS senior participants only. Please meet us in Room 1307 at 9:30am so that we can inform you about our Summer Bridge Program. This classroom is southwest of the 2700 building. There will be a bright sign near the door on a soda dispenser.

This will be a short meeting so that you can attend other sessions on campus. Please make every effort to meet us for this short period of time. If you sent me an email about being placed on a waiting list, you are good to attend this event.

April 21st from 11 am to 2 pm there will be a Sexual Assault Awareness program in the College Center. From 1 pm to 2 pm we will be showing the film; The Hunting Ground in room 2734. This film highlights college student’s academic challenges as they can affected by social issues drug and alcohol abuse.

Stop by the Imperial Valley College Art Gallery this afternoon for refreshments for body and soul.
“Conexiones personales / Personal connections,” artwork by Sergio Castellanos, Karina Venegas Rojas, and Gabriela Buenrostro Solorzano, opens 4-7 p.m. today.
IVC music professor Daren Burns and his students will play guitar throughout the evening.
Please let students know, admission is free. Parking will be free during the reception.
This exhibit will be on display through Wednesday, March 23.
