Hello Imperial!
My name is Carlos. I am a husband first and foremost to a beautiful and wonderul teacher, I am a parent to nine children mostly all adult, three minor children who attend Imperial schools, a grandfather to a beautiful 7 month old granddaughter, a college professor, a Mathematics teacher, and a public school advocate! I am looking to create a rumble within IUSD, to create change, to make sure that our money is being spent on staff, students and above all on what our children need! Do we really need to be spending on things that won’t benefit our future? Our children? I promise that I will ask the difficult questions, I will retain our qualified teachers, bring forth the technology our schools need, provide a safe and clean learning environment and be available to you all whenever you need me. I know what bad leadership looks like and I want to provide a place where teachers, parents and students can feel a sense of peace to be able to come to me and I will do my best to solve issues that are imperative to our community.
