The last week has been busy!

Thanks to everyone who came out and supported us at the Green Chile Festival last weekend!

Tuesday and Wednesday was the Hesperus Leadership Camp and we had a great group attend! Students learned about labels and what can happen when they are used in a way that limits others. Thanks Natalie for coming back to teach this session! The District Officers also led a workshop on being open and vulnerable with challenges we face and that it’s okay to ask for help. It was a great two days!

We are a bit behind, but this summer Cody Haga helped make the perimeter fence a dream up at the farm! Thank you Cody! We’d also like to thank the School Board (Ignacio School District) for helping us with the cost and Stotz Equipment for donating a while back to help with the project. It’s been a big work-in-progress and though we still have a long ways to go, we are slowly making progress on the Ag. Program’s school farm!

This isn’t the end for most, as they’ll be going on to State Fair or other shows around the States, but if you see any of these kids, give them a high five and a congratulations. They deserve it!
