We are so proud of our IMS National Junior Honor Society members who spent time helping the Idalou Volunteer Fire Department Fill the Boot for MDA! 🚒🥾

We love seeing our students step up, serve others, and make a difference right here in our community. Thank you to our NJHS Wildcats for representing IMS so well, and thank you to the Idalou Volunteer Fire Department for allowing our students to be part of such a great cause!

🎉 WELCOME BACK, IMS! 🎉

We officially kicked off the 2026–2027 school year this morning, and we are happy to report that 1st period is underway and ALL IS GOOD! 💚🤍

There’s always a lot of excitement (and a few nerves!) on the first morning, but our students are settling in, our teachers are ready, and we are off to a great start!

Parents, thank you for trusting us with your kids. We are excited for another great year of learning, growing, making memories, and doing great things together.

There’s just something special about the first day back together. 🐾💚💛

Today was filled with excitement, laughter, and so many smiling faces as we kicked off a new school year. We were incredibly grateful to hear from Coach Joey McGuire, whose message reminded us of the impact we have on the lives of our students and the importance of leading with purpose.

A huge thank you to our amazing School Board for starting our day by serving us a delicious breakfast. Your support, encouragement, and appreciation mean so much to our staff and remind us how fortunate we are to be part of a community that truly values its educators.

To our incredible teachers and staff—thank you for your passion, dedication, and heart. Thankful for those that prepare our building and make it such a great place. We can’t wait to see all the great things this school year has in store. Here’s to another amazing year of learning, growing, and making a difference together! ❤️✨
