There will be a Memorial Service for Jim on Tuesday, Dec. 10th from 1:00 p.m. til 3:00 p.m. in the Sundown Room on SPC campus. Arrangements are being handled thru George Price Funeral Directors in Levelland. I did go by and visit with Rosemary today and she was holding up as well as could be expected for the circumstance. She did tell me that you should be able to access the obituary on the following website sometime this evening: http://www.dignitymemorial.com/george-price-funeral-home/en-us/index.page Her and the kids, as well as Jim's brother will be at the memorial service. There will not be any other service, other than this one. Jim will be cremated. Instead of flowers, they are requesting that memorials be made to the Jim R. Jenkins Scholarship fund, which was set up after the first reunion that we had. I told her to be prepared to be overwhelmed with what is fixing to happen to that fund. Many have asked how old Jim was and he was 70. He would have turned 71 on Jan. 7th. I was telling her the number of lives that he has touched over the years and I really am not sure if she can even fathom the number. Please pass this information on to anyone and everyone, especially those former judging team members that had Jim as their coach.
