OUR BEGINNING
Vogue Beauty College & Salon, originally
known as Hollywood Beauty College was
opened in 1959. Eventually, Hollywood’s name was changed to Vogue Beauty College & Salon, & in 1973 it was purchased by Vicki Ellis.
Vicki made it her mission to create a
positive environment that would
encourage students to follow their
dreams and achieve their career goals.
Her dream was to empower others while
providing an affordable and exceptional
education.

In 2017 Vicki’s daughter, Hallie Kane,
became the new owner of Vogue. During
her years of ownership, she has expanded
the Vogue buildings and created
Southeast Idaho’s first and only barber
program, Downtown Barber School. By
doing this Hallie has created unique and
new opportunities for the community.

We are grateful for the influential people who have turned Vogue into what it is. Enjoy some of these old clippings from the 60s, 70s, 80s, & 90s!
