Several months after working on this commission, it’s finally done. So honored to have been chosen to create special piece.

It’s the little things.

Sending my oil paintings off with a personal touch 🥲

The most common question I get at weddings is how long a wedding painting takes me.

I paint 5 hours live at the wedding and then I’ll take it home and spend a few more hours. Sometimes it’s 3 more and sometimes it’s 10.

Truth is I don’t stop working on a painting until I’m satisfied with it. It’s important to me to deliver something I’m proud of to my couples so I’ll spend as much time as a painting needs 🥰

But it’s true. If you want to get good at art you have to make a lot of bad art first.

My mistake was painting the underpainting in indigo. Tomorrow I’ll use burnt sienna.
