District 1 High School Rodeo Queen, Salmon, Idaho District 1 High School Rodeo Queen and contest , reign, details and event and history of contest

The District 1 High School Rodeo QUeen, competes in the yearly contest, in the District 1, then the winner and her first attendant, proceed to the State Finals, High School Rodeo QUeen contest in June, and if she wins or is second place, proceeds to Nationals, or Silver State. The D-1 Queen will represant the District 1 at all District and or State High School Rodeos, helping to run the rodeo, in

whatever capacity she can, under the supervision of her Queen Co ordinator and District and Team advisors. She represents the sport of rodeo, good sportsmanship, being a good role model and example to hre team mates with a spirit on can do , and will help.

Heaven gained another angel today. Miss Rodeo America Tanya (McKinnon) Bartlett was welcomed into Heaven by her MRA sisters, Marie (Mass) Gatlin (1961) and Karen Lavens James (1962). Our organization and ProRodeo.com were blessed to call Tanya part of our family and grateful for her year of service and continued dedication to our sport and to young women. Please remember Tanya and her family in your thoughts and prayers, particularly this next Monday, September 18, Tanya's 43rd birthday.
