Come join in on Tuesday night!

Elizabeth Stewart Clark returns for another virtual talk Tuesday February 25th at 7:00PM eastern! Her talk “Mining for Census Gold: Employments & Odd Jobs” will explore the information available from the 1830, 1840, 1850, and 1860 federal census, as well as tips for accessing local and regional records.
What can we learn from the published census data of the mid-19th century? What occupations are documented for men and women at all levels of the economic system? What can the records help us learn about those we portray and how we portray them?

Cost is $15. Recording will be available to registered attendees for 2 weeks. Register on our website. Link is in the comments.
