This free assignment gives students practice using AI to think through the kinds of decisions they may encounter in their future careers.

Students use AI as a thinking partner to work through professional scenarios and question their initial strategies. This process helps them consider how they would respond before making a final decision.

Want to use it with your students? Comment “AI,” and we’ll send you the link!

In this free assignment, students research the issues surrounding a potential candy ban and prepare to defend their position in a class debate. Along the way, they’ll consider how ethics factor into business regulation and what role companies can play when they support or oppose proposed rules.

Want to use it in your class? Comment “CANDY” and we’ll send you the link!

Dr. Caryn M. Stanley built the HR Hot Seat into her class to get students talking through the gray areas of HR decisions. Having students explain how they got to an answer gives her a better look at their thinking, especially when AI is involved.

This is one of the strategies Caryn shared during Teaching Workplace Readiness: Using HR Scenarios to Foster Student Ownership.

Jeff Owen sees what can happen when students have room to make mistakes before the stakes are real.

That’s one of the things that keeps our VP of Customer Success motivated after three years at Stukent. Jeff values knowing that students can gain practical experience now that they’ll be able to draw from when they begin their careers.
He finds that same sense of purpose in mentoring others. Helping colleagues recognize their potential and take the next step in their careers has become one of the most meaningful parts of his work.

We’re grateful to have Jeff supporting the growth of our customers and the people on his team. Thanks for everything you bring to Stukent, Jeff!

What are other professors actually doing with AI in their classrooms?

On Oct. 16, we’re bringing higher education leaders together for AI Pedagogy in Practice: Strategies for the Modern Campus to share approaches they’ve already put to work with students.

You’ll get a look at real coursework and hear how educators are making decisions about where AI belongs in their teaching. The conversation will also explore what it takes to build a course specifically around AI.
