September is here, which means we are getting back into our classroom routines and have lots of fun learning planned for the month!

In the Infant Room, we will be learning all about me. The babies will be exploring themselves, their bodies, feelings, families, and the people around them through lots of simple, hands-on activities.

The toddlers will be wrapping up All About Me before moving into Community Helpers and then All About Fall. We’ll be talking about the different people who help us in our community and then enjoying everything fall has to offer.

In Preschool, we are starting the year with Back to Preschool. We’ll be working on classroom rules, routines, expectations, friendships, and getting everyone comfortable with our classroom. We’ll then move into Welcome Fall and start talking about the changes we see as we head into a new season.

We’ll also be adding new Spanish vocabulary into each of our themes this month. The kids will have opportunities to hear and practice new words throughout their normal classroom activities.

We’re looking forward to a great month at Lala’s and can’t wait to see all the learning and fun that happens along the way! Take a look at the lesson plans below to see what each classroom will be working on this month.

August at Lala’s!

We’re heading into our final month of summer, and we’re excited to make it a fun one! Check out the lesson plans posted below to see all the themes, activities, and learning opportunities planned for August.

End-of-Summer Party — August 20th | 10:00 AM–1:00 PM
Our toddler, preschool, and school-age students will celebrate with one final water day! We’ll have a wet/dry bounce house slide, plenty of water fun, and pizza for lunch.

Important Dates:
Friday, September 4th: Lala’s will be closed for our early deep-cleaning day.
Monday, September 7th: Lala’s will be closed for Labor Day.

We’re looking forward to making the most of our final month of summer and creating a few more special memories with our Lala’s kiddos!

It’s time for a staff update! 🐝

🌼 Miss Saydie
Miss Saydie is back with us after joining our team last summer! She is young-spirited, kind, and so loving with all of the children at Lala’s. This summer, she is serving as a full-time Assistant Teacher in our Preschool and School-Age programs. We are so thankful to welcome Miss Saydie back for another wonderful summer!

🌼 Miss Bailey
Miss Bailey is our Afternoon Toddler Assistant Teacher. She works hard every day to keep our toddler classroom clean, organized, and welcoming. One of her favorite parts of the day is spending quality time with the children—and they love climbing into Miss Bailey’s lap for cuddles, books, and playtime. We appreciate everything she does for our toddlers!

🌼 Miss Taylor
Miss Taylor is our Part-Time Assistant Teacher in our Preschool and School-Age classrooms. She quickly became a favorite among our students, who eagerly watch the clock each afternoon waiting for her arrival! Her fun personality, enthusiasm, and creativity bring so much excitement to our afternoons. Miss Taylor leads daily handwriting practice, sensory activities, games, monitors afternoon recess, and helps create meaningful learning experiences for every child. We are so thankful to have her as part of the Lala’s family!

🌼 Miss Saydie
¡Miss Saydie está de regreso después de haber formado parte de nuestro equipo el verano pasado! Es una persona alegre, amable y muy cariñosa con todos los niños de Lala’s. Este verano se desempeña como Maestra Asistente de tiempo completo en nuestros programas de Preescolar y Edad Escolar. ¡Estamos muy felices de tenerla nuevamente con nosotros!

🌼 Miss Bailey
Miss Bailey es nuestra Maestra Asistente de la tarde en el salón de niños pequeños (Toddlers). Trabaja con dedicación para mantener el salón limpio, organizado y seguro todos los días. A los niños les encanta sentarse en su regazo para jugar, leer y recibir un abrazo. ¡Agradecemos todo el cariño y esfuerzo que brinda a nuestros pequeños!

Miss Taylor es nuestra Maestra Asistente de medio tiempo en los salones de Preescolar y Edad Escolar. Rápidamente se ganó el cariño de nuestros estudiantes, quienes esperan con emoción su llegada cada tarde. Su gran personalidad, energía y creatividad llenan nuestras tardes de diversión. Miss Taylor guía actividades diarias de escritura, proyectos de arte sensorial, juegos educativos, supervisa el recreo de la tarde y apoya el aprendizaje en el salón. ¡Estamos muy agradecidos de que forme parte de la familia de Lala’s!

This month at Lalas!

Summer is in full swing at Lala’s Childcare and Preschool! Throughout July, our students will enjoy an exciting calendar filled with weekly themes, creative activities, and new adventures. Each classroom will explore its theme through hands-on learning, art projects, sensory play, outdoor exploration, games, and teamwork. Our summer curriculum is designed to encourage creativity, build new skills, and make every day an opportunity for fun and discovery. We look forward to a wonderful month filled with laughter, learning, and unforgettable memories! ☀️🌈🖍️🏕️

¡El verano está en pleno apogeo en Lala’s Childcare and Preschool! Durante el mes de julio, nuestros estudiantes disfrutarán de un calendario lleno de emocionantes temas semanales, actividades creativas y nuevas experiencias. Cada aula explorará su tema a través de juegos, proyectos de arte, actividades sensoriales, aprendizaje práctico, aventuras al aire libre y trabajo en equipo. 🌟 Creative Movement Dance is Coming to Lala’s Daycare! 🌟

We’re so excited to partner with Eagle Rock Dance to bring in-house Creative Movement Dance Classes right here at Lala’s Daycare!

Our sample classes on June 1 were a huge hit, so we’re opening registration for a fun 8-week summer session designed just for our daycare kiddos.

• Ages 4–5: 9:30–10:00 AM

💲 Cost: $99 per child for all 8 classes

Last week at Lala’s! 🐝

We celebrated two of our favorite days! Mother’s Day & Provider Appreciation Day!

We see how hard you work, how much you love your children, and hope you felt the love 💕

Friday, we celebrated Childcare Appreciation Day by ordering Staff Lunch funded by our amazing Lala’s families! They also received baskets full of thoughtful cards written to staff from parents expressing their appreciation 🐝 thank you very much for all who participated I know we all felt the love!

Hello families! We’re so excited to share our April lesson plans with you. This month, students will be learning new Spanish vocabulary and exploring fun new themes with different textures and materials.

We also have several improvements happening around the center, including playground updates, classroom exchanges, and classroom improvements. Thank you for your patience as we work to make our space even better—please excuse our mess while we improve!

Infants will be learning about bugs and insects.
Toddlers will be exploring spring and how things grow.
Preschoolers will be learning about spring weather, including rain, flowers, and nature.

We can’t wait for a fun month of learning and discovery!

¡Hola familias! Estamos muy emocionados de compartir con ustedes nuestros planes de lecciones de abril. Este mes, los estudiantes aprenderán nuevo vocabulario en español y explorarán temas nuevos y divertidos usando diferentes texturas y materiales.

También estamos realizando varias mejoras en el centro, incluyendo actualizaciones en el patio de recreo, intercambios entre salones y mejoras en las aulas. Gracias por su paciencia mientras trabajamos para hacer nuestro espacio aún mejor—¡disculpen el desorden mientras mejoramos!
