Rōv: a journey, especially one with no specific destination; an act of wandering.
That meaning has always felt fitting for my life and what Rove Backcountry & Emergency Training has evolved into.
Rove has continued to grow, change, and developed as I have.
Over the next week, we’ll be introducing three new instructors joining the Rove team. 🤍
Bringing them on means we’ll be able to improve class availability, offer more training opportunities, bring different experiences and strengths into the classroom, and continue making our classes even better.
More importantly, these are people who believe in what Rove stands for and understand that our goal has never been to simply hand someone a certification card.
We want people to leave feeling confident, capable, and prepared to help when it matters.
I’ve learned pretty quickly that I can’t build everything I want Rove to become by doing it alone — and I’m really excited to have the right people stepping in to help us keep moving forward.
The journey keeps changing.
And I think that’s exactly the point. 🤍🤍
