Rōv: a journey, especially one with no specific destination; an act of wandering.

That meaning has always felt fitting for my life and what Rove Backcountry & Emergency Training has evolved into.

Rove has continued to grow, change, and developed as I have.

Over the next week, we’ll be introducing three new instructors joining the Rove team. 🤍

Bringing them on means we’ll be able to improve class availability, offer more training opportunities, bring different experiences and strengths into the classroom, and continue making our classes even better.

More importantly, these are people who believe in what Rove stands for and understand that our goal has never been to simply hand someone a certification card.

We want people to leave feeling confident, capable, and prepared to help when it matters.

I’ve learned pretty quickly that I can’t build everything I want Rove to become by doing it alone — and I’m really excited to have the right people stepping in to help us keep moving forward.

The journey keeps changing.

And I think that’s exactly the point. 🤍🤍

We saw this post shared on social media today.
We never want anyone leaving one of our classes feeling like this.

Our goal isn’t just to hand you a CPR card — it’s to make sure you actually feel confident stepping in when someone needs you.

We’ll practice, answer questions, repeat skills as many times as you need, and make sure you’re comfortable before you leave. And even after class, if you ever feel like you need a refresher or just want to practice compressions again, reach out. We’ll make time for you. ❤️

Because in an emergency, we want your first thought to be “I know what to do.” Not “please don’t do that around me.” 😂

One of the things I’m most proud of about our instructors at Rove Backcountry & Emergency Training is that we never stop learning.

We’re constantly training, practicing, taking courses, and pushing ourselves to improve our own skills—because if we’re going to teach others how to respond when it matters most, we should always be working to become better ourselves.

And that will never change. 🤍

I’m excited to add ACLS and PALS to my own continued education, and we have a few pretty amazing announcements coming from Rove within the next week that I cannot wait to share.

We’re growing, learning, and building something I’m incredibly proud of.

Thank you for the continuous support,
-Alexandria Rose

We had the opportunity to spend some time with the staff The Little Playhut Pre-School & Daycare getting them trained and prepared for those moments we all hope never happen. ❤️

And now—they are have their grand opening on the 29th! 🎉

There’s something pretty special about a childcare team that makes emergency preparedness a priority from the very beginning. Knowing the people caring for your little ones have taken the time to learn CPR, First Aid, and AED skills can bring a little extra peace of mind to parents.

We absolutely recommend checking out **The Little Playhut Pre-School & Daycare if you're looking for childcare in the area!

Congratulations on officially opening your doors! Thank you for trusting us to be part of your journey. ❤️

At Rove, one of our biggest priorities is making sure the people teaching you are properly trained, appropriately credentialed, and experienced in the skills they teach.

Meet Alexandria Rose, one of the owners and instructors behind Rove Emergency Training!

Alexandria is a mom, full-time EMT, volunteer FF, CPR/First Aid instructor, Wilderness First Aid instructor, Wilderness First Responder, and active member of Search & Rescue. She is also continuing her education in paramedicine.

Being a mom is a big part of why this training matters to her. Emergencies don’t only happen on an ambulance or deep in the backcountry. They happen at home, at the park, on family adventures, at work, and during ordinary days when you least expect them.

At Rove, we believe credentials matter—but so does real-world experience. Our instructors bring both into the classroom, creating training that is practical, approachable, and built around situations you may actually encounter.

As Rove grows, we are committed to maintaining a high standard for our instructor team. Every instructor representing Rove will hold the appropriate training, certifications, and credentials for the courses they teach.

Because whether your journey takes you across town, into the mountains, to the workplace, or simply home to the people you love, we want you to have the confidence and skills to respond when it matters.
