We have been working on making some brown bear books. A white dog is silly to color! Or is it? We are also working on patterns too! Color matching is always a fun center to work with.

And so it begins. A ah Apple!
Reading starts out very basic.
Phonics learning helps create a base for reading. Teaching the name and the sound right out of the gate helps kids have a strong foundation for reading.
The letter A really does have a lot of sounds but starting with "Ah" Apple. And singing our Alligator Song gets these kids saying the first sound correctly. Also, associating the letters with two objects just helps that foundation. Pretty soon they will find letters all over their world.
