We are so thrilled to have had Marimba Boise in Idaho City today! The entire school district was dancing, clapping, and singing along with these incredibly talented musicians.
Thank you Marimba Boise for coming to our hometown and a big thanks to the Rural Arts Grant that helped provide the funding.

Thank you so much to our beautiful community, friends, and family. The project is fully funded! I am so grateful for the unwavering support for our music program. We do not get a budget for supplies, so I must fundraise when anything is needed. I appreciate the beautiful humans that help hold up our music program. Thank you again. 💛✨🎶

One of my amazingly talented students is making these gorgeous planet paintings!! He is trying to earn some money, so he is selling his pieces. You can choose your colors (I chose green, blue, and silver) and he will make you an amazing piece!

School is back in session for Idaho City Middle/High School at Basin School District 72 💛💙
This week, we are determining instrumental skill levels and discussing factors to consider when choosing songs to learn and perform.
We have a really fun group this year in the music department - lots of beginners, which is fantastic!
