Read. Talk. Play. Every day! Did you know most of a child's brain growth happens from ages 0-5? You can make a difference by reading, talking, and playing every day during the first five years. Boise Basin Library runs a Read Talk Play program for families here in Idaho City every Tuesday 11:30-12:00.

Please see the attached newsletter. There are a few minor changes to the upcoming events sidebar - we left a few off before printing. Additionally, we want to remind families that the Ready! for Kindergarten workshop is this Thursday at 4:00 p.m. Next week, we will have our Early Learning Fair and Preschool/Kindergarten registration on Thursday, April 16th. Please help us spread the word. This Friday is the Zoo field trip. If you have signed your children or family up for the field trip, please see the additional form that is in your child's Tuesday folder. We need the form back by Thursday.

We’re getting ready for our Summer Feeding Program! ☀️🍎

Did you know meals are FREE for all kids, regardless of income?

Beginning July 1, we’ll offer 6 weeks of meal boxes, each including 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches for your kiddos.

And yes… it’s completely FREE! The more children who sign up, the more support our school receives to expand our scratch-made meal program.

Please read through this week's edition of the newsletter, which contains important information about the Bogus Basin Field Trip, the AR Party, and next Tuesday's Awards Assembly. Additionally, the Love of Reading Reading Log, teacher picks, and genre reading competition forms are due on Wednesday. More details are in the newsletter. We also want to let parents know that there is NO PRIME TIME or Activity Bus on Wednesday.

Additionally, for those attending the Bogus Field Trip, please email or call if your pick-up plans change. We will need to be notified of changes no later than 2:30 p.m.
