📚❤️ IT’S BANNED BOOKS WEEK! ❤️📚
Here at the Idabel Public Library, we believe in something pretty simple: people should have the freedom to read.
Books open doors. They introduce us to people and places we may never encounter otherwise. They challenge us, teach us, make us laugh, make us think, and sometimes help us see the world through someone else’s eyes.
And that’s why libraries matter.
Our job isn’t to tell you what you should read. Our job is to make sure you have the opportunity to explore, discover, question, and choose for yourself.
So this Banned Books Week, we’re celebrating the freedom to read—and the wonderfully messy, curious, sometimes surprising world of books. 📖✨
Come on in, find something that catches your eye, and exercise that freedom!
Read widely. Read boldly. Read for yourself. ❤️📚
