🍀 4-H IS BACK! 🍀

We’re excited to kick off another great year with our 4-H program! Our first meeting will be:

📅 Tuesday, August 18th
⏰ 5:15 PM

Everyone is invited to attend, and parents are encouraged to join us as well!

During the meeting, we’ll go over online 4-H enrollment and registration for the year and make sure everyone has the information they need to get signed up.

🍪 Snacks will be provided!

Whether you’re a returning 4-H member or interested in joining for the first time, we’d love to have you there. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone on August 18th! 🍀🐄🌾

Our Summer Enrichment Reader’s Theater class worked hard to building strong reading skills while bringing stories to life! Throughout the summer, students practiced expression, voice inflection, fluency, accuracy, pacing, character interpretation, confidence, and teamwork as they learned to read with meaning and purpose.

To celebrate all of their hard work, the class performed “The Three Little Pigs” for family and friends. We are so proud of the growth these students showed and the confidence they gained with every rehearsal. Great job, readers! 🎭📚

We welcome Mrs. Kayla Manginell as the new PTA President! 🎉

“My name is Kayla, and I am honored to serve as the new PTA President at Grace Academy.

My husband, Lane, and I have been married for almost eight years. We met in high school and later attended nursing school together. We have two wonderful children, Kaden and Aubrey, who are the center of our lives.

Kaden attends Grace Academy, and this school has been such a blessing to our family. We are incredibly thankful for the Christ-centered education, dedicated teachers, and supportive community that make Grace Academy such a special place.

I work at McCurtain Memorial Hospital and enjoy serving our community through my career. I am excited to also serve our Grace Academy families as PTA President.

My goal is to help strengthen the connection between home and school by encouraging parent involvement, supporting our teachers, and creating meaningful opportunities for our students and families. I believe that when families and educators work together, our children thrive.

I look forward to working together with others to make this a wonderful year at Grace Academy!”

Whether you work in a school or in your church children’s ministry, we have A LOT of FREE classroom items to give away!

Our teachers have done lots of cleaning out, changing themes, and transitioning this summer. Rather than throw away perfectly good organizational items, bulletin board decor, and more, we would rather share them with our community.

Please stop by on Tuesday and feel free to take anything you want! Tables should be set up under the school pavilion with all items. Mark your calendar and share this with teacher friends!
