Happy Monday! My name is Amalimar Ferreira, students call me Ms.Amali, and I’m proud to be graduating from Florida Atlantic University with my degree in Early Care and Education. I’ve spent the past few years working with children in different settings, starting as a counselor for pre-K students, then as an assistant teacher, and now tutoring and teaching online early elementary.

One of my favorite books is The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle, because it’s such a fun and meaningful story about growth and change, just like what we see in children every day.

What I love most about teaching is when I know I’ve taught a child something and see them truly learn and succeed from it. Watching their confidence grow and knowing I was part of that moment makes teaching so special to me.
