🇺🇸 Proud to Serve Our Community! 🇺🇸

Our Student Council and Beta Club members were honored to volunteer with the American Legion by carrying the flags at the beginning of the parade. We are so proud of these students for representing our school and community!

Our teachers and staff also had a parade entry and loved seeing so many of our current students, former students, and families along the parade route. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and celebrate together! ❤️💙

Thank you to everyone who helped make the parade such a special community event!

Monday’s recess had a little something for everyone!
Some of our students looked around the playground and decided, “You know what this place needs? A little TLC!” 😂 They jumped right in—pulling w**ds, sweeping mulch, and picking up trash. No assignment. No prize. Just kids choosing to lend a hand and take pride in their school. ❤️
Meanwhile, some of their friends made an equally important recess decision: PLAY! 😂 They tested out the new equipment, found a nice shady spot, relaxed, laughed, and enjoyed every minute of the break they had earned. And you know what? Both choices were exactly right.
Recess is a time for kids to choose what fills their cup. Sometimes that means running, climbing, laughing, and enjoying the shade…and sometimes, apparently, it means looking at a w**d and thinking, “Not on my watch!” 😂🌱
I loved watching our students spend their time in the way that felt good to them—and I was especially touched by the ones who voluntarily gave a little of their recess time to make our school grounds look better.
Little hands can make a BIG difference. ❤️

We had a wonderful first day of school at NEEE! Just a few notes and reminders...

1. Please be sure to send back the paperwork that came home in your child's folder tonight. Everything that is on colored paper should be returned.

2. If your child's after school dismissal plans are changing, please be sure to send a note in your child's folder.
