The 2024-2025 FAFSA is (finally!) online via a "soft launch." This means that the Department of Education is continuing to identify technical issues and fix them. As a result, the form will be accessible only for short periods, and seniors and their families may decide to wait a bit to complete and submit the form until it's fully functional.

Here's the department's latest alert. If you have questions about the financial aid application process, it's fine to contact the financial aid offices at the schools to which you've applied for admission.
