*** INDOOR after-school activities canceled today ***

Please be aware that all indoor after-school activities on the Lamoille Union/Green Mountain Technology campus are canceled today, Tuesday, September 1st.

The Lamoille Union High School musical auditions will be moved to Wednesday and Thursday this week. Please email the producers with any questions.

Outdoor sports practices and events will still take place today.

Students who would have been staying for an indoor activity this afternoon can ride home on the bus or can wait here for a ride. A staff member will be on campus to supervise students who need to wait for their ride; this includes Eden students being picked up by parents/designated guardians due to the bus driver shortage.

Testing of our campus fire alarm system needs to take place this afternoon, and in order to allow that work to be completed without disruption, we need to have the building clear following the school day.

This is only system testing and is not related to an emergency.

SENIOR SUNRISE!

There’s something pretty special about starting your last first day as a Lancer together.

Bright and early on the first day of school, members of the LUHS Class of 2027 gathered for Senior Sunrise — soaking in the view, snapping some photos, and kicking off a year that will be filled with plenty of “lasts.”

More importantly, we hope it’s a year filled with opportunities to come together and celebrate this incredible group of seniors — their friendships, accomplishments, memories, and everything still ahead.

From the first sunrise to that walk across the graduation stage, we’re going to enjoy the journey with them.

Got those first day feels!

There’s nothing quite like the energy of the first day of school. We’re so excited to welcome our students back and incredibly grateful for the staff who make our schools such special places to learn and grow. Here’s to a great year ahead!

*** AN IMPORTANT TRANSPORTATION UPDATE IMPACTING SOME EDEN FAMILIES ***

We apologize for the late notice, but for the rest of this week, students on Eden Bus Route E1 will not have afternoon bus transportation home from the Lamoille Union Campus.

A designated parent or caregiver must pick up affected students at the Lamoille Union Campus at the end of the school day. Students who need to wait for their ride can remain safely inside the building.

This change is due to an unplanned and unexpected shortage of bus drivers. We know this creates a significant, last-minute inconvenience for families, and we sincerely apologize.

We are working with Lamoille Valley Transportation to restore regular service as quickly as possible and will update Eden families when more information is available.

NEW TO LAMOILLE UNION? START YOUR YEAR WITH US!

All new 9th graders, transfer students, and exchange students are invited to LUHS Orientation Night tonight!

📅 Monday, August 24
⏰ 5:00–7:00 p.m.
📍 Lamoille Union High School

Students and families will kick off the evening with a welcome from Principal Bethann Pirie as they prepare for the year ahead.

Students will:
• Pick up their class schedules
• Receive FREE school supplies—including a LancerBook organizer, backpack, binders, notebooks, folders, and writing supplies
• Explore the school and find their classrooms
• Meet their teachers and start making connections

Families: While students explore, enjoy refreshments and connect with LUHS administrators and counselors.

Starting at a new school is a big moment, and Orientation Night is a great chance to get comfortable, get connected, and feel ready for the first day.

2026–2027 Bus Route Information is Now Available!

Lamoille North families can now access their student’s 2026–2027 bus route information through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal (https://lnsu.infinitecampus.org/.../portal/parents/lnsu.jsp).

To help protect student information, bus routes are no longer posted publicly and are instead available securely through Infinite Campus.

Before viewing your bus route, you must complete the 2026–2027 Annual Update. If you’ve already completed it, you’re all set!

The Annual Update takes less than five minutes and allows families to verify important information, including emergency contacts, health information, permissions, and other student records.

To access your student’s bus route:

- Log into the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
- Complete the 2026–2027 Annual Update if prompted.
- Once complete, look for the bus route link under the Announcements tab.
