Thank you to all of our partners and funders that made our new Chittick School Playground a reality.

All Boston Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, Friday, June 21, 2024. This decision was made after further consultation with the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education the City of Boston Department of Transportation and Boston Police Department (Official) about student safety and operational concerns city-wide. Today, Thursday June 20th, is the last day of school.

We hope that our BPS community has a safe, healthy, and restful summer and thank you for your understanding as we work to keep every one of our students safe.

The Lawrence Guy Family Foundation gave every student at our school a winter coat from Abercrombie, hats and gloves for Christmas.
Families took pictures with Santa and enjoyed treats from Raising Caines Chicken, Crumbl Cookies & Starbucks. The Guy family has been a true blessing to our school community.

A HUGE THANK YOU to the Lawrence Guy Family Foundation for hosting a successful Thanksgiving Drive at the Chittick!
230 Turkeys and fixings were given to Chittick families.

Defensive end Lawrence Guy of the New England Patriots hosted a turkey drive to help hundreds of families ahead of Thanksgiving.

There was excitement in the air at the Chittick today as New England Patriots Defensive End
Lawrence Guy,his wife Andrea and The New England Patriots Foundation came to visit our school for a PEP RALLY to celebrate our scholars.
Our students were AMAZING and our scholars asked great questions.
The Guy Family was very nice and were FULL of surprises! The Guy Family sent an Ice Cream truck and every scholar was treated to a special treat and received a mini Patriots football. We are so grateful!!

A HUGE shoutout to our AMAZING K2 teacher, Mrs. Ahern who is running the Boston Marathon on Monday! Mrs. Ahern has trained very hard and we are so proud of her for taking on this incredible challenge. Our entire school community celebrated Mrs. Ahern today. Please join us in cheering Mrs. Ahern every step of the way!!!!
