Today we celebrate our IT professionals — the wizards behind the screens who keep our district running smoothly. You troubleshoot, innovate, and rescue us from technological chaos on a daily basis. Whether it’s a password crisis or a system outage, you always manage to “control‑alt‑delete” the problem with calm expertise.

To our Tech Department - Thank you for keeping us connected, secure, and supported — even when the rest of us are buffering. You’re the real power behind our “on” button.

Haviland Middle School honored the 25th anniversary of Sept. 11 with its annual remembrance ceremony and tribute at Haviland’s Memorial Garden. As students and staff gathered to watch the changing of the flag and speak the Pledge of Allegiance, they paused to remember the significance of the day, and honor the memory of loved ones lost.

Thank you to Scout Troop 37 for their participation and respectful observance of the flag. We thank Roosevelt Fire District and Town of Hyde Park Police for constantly showing up for students, and reaffirming why We Will Never Forget❤🇺🇸

Last spring, North Park's primary classrooms explored how plants grow by starting vegetable and flower seeds indoors. The students then transplanted their sprouts into NPE's new Sensory Pathway Garden, adding pollinator plants to attract the bees and butterflies essential for a healthy crop. The best part is NPE was able to give back to the community by donating their fresh, student-raised vegetables straight to our local food pantry!

💚💛 Growing Stronger Together!

A large group of staff from support roles across Hyde Park CSD recently participated in TCIS (Therapeutic Crisis Intervention for Schools) training!

TCIS equips our team with strategies to prevent, de-escalate, and safely respond to challenging situations while prioritizing student dignity, relationships, and emotional well-being.

This training helps us create a school culture where students feel safe, supported, understood, and ready to learn.

The Back to School BBQ at our Community Schools Family Resource Center was a joyful celebration of meaningful connections, and opportunities to help students get ready for the new school year.

Working with Hyde Park CSD volunteers and 20 incredible community partners, we provided over 400 students and family members with school supplies, backpacks, lunchboxes, hair services, food, and wellness and community resources. 💚🎒

Thank you to our families and community partners who joined us to make this day memorable. We are so grateful to the talented hairstylists from Artistic Hair Lounge, Textür Hair and Spa, and Textür Hair and Colour Group. Their involvement brought this event to life, and truly showcased the strength, generosity, and community spirit of Hyde Park.

Days like this remind us that preparing for a successful school year is something we can do together as a community.

We can’t wait to welcome students back on September 9th!
