Summer is a time for exploration, discovery, and growth.

Beginning June 22, Georgetown Hill Early School's summer program offers children engaging experiences that spark curiosity, encourage creativity, and build confidence through play-based learning.

From outdoor adventures to hands-on activities and new friendships, every day is designed to help children learn, play, and thrive.

As the school year comes to a close, we are thinking about all the little moments that made this year special.
What is one memory your child has loved from this year at Greenwood?

Small changes in conversation can make a big difference in learning.
When we ask open-ended questions, children have the opportunity to think more deeply, share their ideas, and practice important communication skills. These everyday interactions help build confidence, curiosity, and critical thinking.
Try it today: Instead of asking, "What is it?" ask, "What do you notice?"

The last few weeks of school always bring a little extra excitement. This week at Greenwood, we are making marble paint seahorses to explore color, texture, and creativity. We are proud of how much this group has learned and grown.

Summer is almost here at Greenwood, and everyone is starting to feel it. What is your family looking forward to most this summer?

June is here, and we are enjoying these last few weeks together. This week in our two’s classroom, the children are are creating the sun using their handprints! It has been sweet to see how much they have grown.

Longer days, sidewalk chalk, outdoor adventures, family traditions, and a little extra time to play are almost here.

This month we’re celebrating Ms. Tyesha at Greenwood. She has been part of the Georgetown Hill family for 16 years, and what she loves most about teaching is “Being the children’s first teacher!” Fun fact: “I’ve tied more tiny shoelaces than most people do in a lifetime.” Thank you for leading with love.

There is something about hands-on projects, messy tables, and getting fully absorbed in creating something that kids never forget. Come make some messes.

Spring is in full swing at greenwood and our little ones are making the most of every minute outside. This week, they’re running, climbing, and discovering all the little wonders that come with playing under open skies.

This week in our three’s classroom we’re stirring slime and exploring colors through science. The curiosity in this room never gets old.
