The 5th Annual DeMatha Chess camp is underway. DeMatha Chess Club Co-Captains Ayooluwa Eremah ‘27 and Miles Muhammed ‘29 are camp counselors this week. Miles is currently playing an 8-person simul against the campers, and hasn’t lost yet. Besides chess, campers make giant bubbles, race RC cars, build pizzas with and play a healthy amount of dodgeball.

Congratulations to Brian Stamper ‘14 (fourth from left) and his bride, Asia, as they tied the knot recently in Thailand.

Thomas & Jessica Brown have sent four sons through DeMatha. They were recognized during the commencement ceremony for the Class of 2026.
Each year during graduation, we honor all faculty members that have served 20+years here at DeMatha.
This year 3 faculty members join that prestigious group: Matthew Bickel ‘95, Paul Clark ‘01, and Mike Ptomey ‘98.
