Achieve Workforce Academy Program Manager Michael Anderson attended the Prince George's Chamber of Commerce Annual Economic Development Forum at the NOAA Center for Weather and Climate Prediction on Aug. 7.

The forum allowed for discussion, communication and the exchange of ideas on regional areas that impact the Prince George's County economy. Attendees learned about the Chamber's role in advancing businesses within the county. Speakers explored issues and forces of transformational change across economies and industries, as well as global issues that bring together business professionals, community leaders, academics, and stakeholders to talk strategy.

The event facilitated partnership discussions and increased knowledge of key industries within Prince George's County. We hope to use the information as we continue to help AWA participants.
