Four years ago, he was a freshman preparing for his first performance at DeMatha. Last week, recent graduate Jesse Kliman ‘26 returned to campus to perform Silent Noon, a setting of Dante Gabriel Rossetti’s poem by Ralph Vaughan Williams, at a summer gathering in the Antler Room before an audience spanning multiple generations of Stags.

This fall, Jesse will attend Oberlin Conservatory of Music to study vocal performance. During his time at DeMatha, he was a member of Voices of DeMatha and a cellist in Sinfonia.

🇺🇸 This Fourth of July, saxophonist Eleazar Acosta ‘28, performed the National Anthem before a community swim meet.

Learning doesn’t stop when the school year ends. Our students take their talents beyond the classroom, using music to serve their communities and honor meaningful traditions.
