We are excited to announce Coach Henderson as our next Head Girls Basketball Coach!!!!

“Most of you know me by now but aside from teaching 6th Grade and coaching Junior High Volleyball again, I am super excited about coaching the High School Girl’s Basketball as well this year. What you may not know is that I have come back to some practices every single year since I have graduated to help with skills, motivation, and help better the players. After seeing many different coaching perspectives over the last few years and assistant coaching last year I feel prepared in this role that I have been selected for. My coaching philosophy surrounds the process and steps a team takes to be successful. I believe that if a team focuses on being mentally prepared, developing individually and as a whole, and mastering the fundamentals of basketball, then winning will take care of itself. I’m looking forward to this year’s season! Go Longhorns!”

We are excited to introduce Alex Leuenberger as a 7-12 teacher!!!

“I am excited to join the Longhorn family as the elementary physical education teacher. Originally from Waverly, Nebraska, I graduated from Wayne State College, where I competed as a member of the track and field team. In addition to teaching PE, I will be coaching junior high football, basketball, and track while also assisting with the varsity football and track programs. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, and staying active. I look forward to building relationships with students, helping them develop a lifelong love of physical activity, and being a positive part of the Longhorn community. Go Longhorns!”
