Staff Spotlight: Rachael Kittleson, Senior Manager of Employer Engagement and Workforce Partnerships

Originally from Buffalo, New York, Rachael Kittleson now calls Eastham, Massachusetts home, and this month she is celebrating her two-year anniversary with Cape Cod Community College!

Rachael began her career in education as a secondary educator, then as department chair of Business Education, and later as assistant principal before transitioning into the nonprofit sector, where she led advocacy, program development, and corporate partnership initiatives in the neuro-oncology space. She has also served as a national speaker, advanced policy initiatives on Capitol Hill, and contributed to advisory committees elevating the patient and caregiver voice.

Rachael holds both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Business Education from Buffalo State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Outside her professional work, she leads a nonprofit supporting pediatric brain tumor patients and their families and serves on several advisory boards.

When she's not helping employers on the Cape find educational solutions that fit the needs of their organizations and employees, you can find Rachael gardening, wrangling three big dogs, or enjoying one of Cape Cod's beautiful beaches.

What an incredible day at CCAPE! 🎉 We officially launched the Next Wave Culinary Career Initiative, in partnership with Campbell's, through it's local brand Cape Cod Potato Chips — bringing $250,000 in new investment to build the future of food on Cape Cod.

We welcomed MA Secretary of Labor and Workforce Development, Secretary Lauren Jones; Assistant Secretary for Career Education at MA Executive Office of Education, Robert LePage; and Regional Director at Mass Office of Business Development, Jen Menard.

Kate Barrett, President, The Campbell's Foundation & Head of Community Affairs spoke to the brand's investment, entrepreneurial roots and legacy on the Cape, and long-term community commitment.

Through two new programs, the Kitchen-to-Career Accelerator and the Kitchen Leadership Lab, we're creating hands-on training, mentorship, and real pathways for local food entrepreneurs and employers to grow their teams.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate — partners, community members, and colleagues alike. This is just the beginning of what's ahead!
