A heartfelt THANK YOU to the family of Mr. Lee Martinez for blessing our teachers and staff with special back-to-school treats—and an extra-special gift of school supplies for our classrooms and students in need! ✏️📚

Mr. Martinez had a deep love for the students of Hutto, and his legacy of caring for children and education continues to make a difference at Lee Martinez Elementary.

We are so grateful to his granddaughter, Cristi Cross, and daughter, Lupie Palacios, for keeping his spirit of generosity alive and supporting our LMES family. What a beautiful way to honor his legacy! 💙🦛

Leadership isn’t always about being in charge—it’s about making a difference! 💙🧡

At LMES, we’re on the lookout for students who are showing kindness, responsibility, courage, respect, and a willingness to help others. When we spot a student demonstrating what it means to Level Up as a Leader, they may just get caught in the act! 👀📸

Our staff will be snapping quick photos of students who are making positive choices, helping others, showing kindness, or stepping up as a leader.

Today, we Caught:
Our 2nd graders, Abbas and Cameron, spotted synergizing and showing what great leadership looks like! Abbas was helping friends log in to their computers, while Cameron shared her computer with a friend whose Chromebook wasn’t working.

Way to go, Abbas and Cameron! You showed kindness, teamwork, and a willingness to help others. That’s leadership in action! 🌟💻👏
