Russell's Wood Carvings

This is the bear that started it all!! It was my very first carving ever. He cleans up pretty nice huh?

I also took the opportunity to clean up the Houston Fire statue at the academy. Here are pics of it being power washed, airbrushed and protected!

It has been a few years since finishing the Robinson Elementary School Raccoon project. I took some time, before our baby is born, to restore it. It is amazing what a power washer and some new air brush techniques will do to a carving that is beat down by the Texas weather!

I am proud to say that in late April we are adding another boy to our family!!! As exciting as this news is, I will be finishing projects and shutting down my wood carving operation until late 2017. Thank you for your support and I look forward to creating new works in the future!

Urgent! I'm in need of a log in or near Houston. The dimensions i need are 1' long and at least 18" diameter. Preferably oak or pine with the bark still on it. Please let me know if you have a log or section I can cut to use. Send me a pic. Thank you.

Here it is!!! The Clear Lake City Elementary project that has been 3 months in the making! It was an amazing event with many memories made.
