We wrapped up another great week of hands-on training at Collin College, led by instructor TJ Tirado!

This class got hands-on with windshields, back glass, quarter glass, door glass, and windshield repair—working across a variety of vehicles and learning multiple tools, techniques, and real-world scenarios along the way.

This week, Jason Horne made his way to Indiana to train this great group of new auto glass technicians! From properly removing and replacing windshields, back glass, and quarter glass to learning the tools, techniques, safety standards, and best practices behind a quality installation — they put in the hands-on work all week. 🚙

This week, Kaizen took training onsite to The Woodlands, Texas, where our resident expert TJ Tirado led the team through hands-on auto glass replacement training focused on proper procedures, safety, tools, techniques, and the real-world skills needed to confidently bring glass services in-house. 🚙🔧

A big thank you to Kody Allan with DuPont for making the trip to certify these new technicians in proper urethane application, and to PGW Auto Glass and Pilkington North America Glass for supporting the hands-on experience by making sure we had the glass we needed in time for training week!

Two days in Chicago. A room full of Spartans. A LOT to take home. 💪⚔️

Shauna headed to Chicago for the Collision Advice Spartan 300 Symposium—and this one was packed with insight from some of the biggest OEs in the industry, including Honda/Acura, BMW, Toyota, Mazda, Subaru, VW, GM, Rivian, Porsche and Nissan.

A few standout moments:
⚡ Incredible keynotes from Chadd Wright and Jon Acuff—plus a signed book from Jon! 📖🙌🏻
⚡ SCRS’ Aaron Schulenburg’s conversation with attorney Rebekah Cooper on ADAS, vehicle safety, and the very REAL liability surrounding today’s repairs.⚖️
⚡ GM’s eye-opening presentation on counterfeit airbags and seat belts—and the devastating real-world consequences when safety is compromised.

The biggest takeaway? As vehicles evolve, our training, knowledge and commitment to doing things RIGHT have to evolve with them.
