Predictions made on which will grow and which will not.  we have three very optimistic children, one very pessimistic child and one who is extremely logical.

This week, our pre-K class is learning about farm life, so this morning they discovered the art of making butter. What a magical morning! They started out with some heavy cream, a jar and a pinch of salt then they used their mighty muscles and ended up with some creamy butter to put on some yummy bread and chowed down. We had seven kids and all but one loved it. Our number seven probably would’ve loved it too, but he was a little leery of trying it.

Learning through play is the sweetest! Our 2’s and 3’s are sampling different flavors of ice cream, nurturing, baby dolls, and getting creative during center time (today they made decorative horseshoes representing the letter H).
