The only limiting factor you have is what you tell yourself you can’t do
Cardio logic:
I have to do 1,000m…
I just need to get to 400m.. then it’s just 100m to halfway.. then just need to get to 700m that’s just 100m short of 200m left..
Just me or anyone else do this?!?
What is one small thing you can do today to set you up for success this week?

It's that time of year again when there are a lot of "Next year I want to (fill in the blank" declarations - so I thought I'd share some tips on how to make sure you're successful in whatever your upcoming goals might be.
What is the key thing?? - Set a tangible goal that has realistic steps on how you're going to accomplish it.
Want to start eating better? Great!! How are you planning on doing it? What small steps or tweaks can you make that change?
- Include more vegetables in your home cooked meals?
- Eat your protein first before anything else?
- Drink more water by replacing 1 sugary drink with a glass of water instead each day.
Want to be more active? Awesome! What does that look like?
Maybe something like this:
- I want to move 2x a week for at least 30 min each.
- I will include 20 minutes of strength or resistance training in 1 workout a week
- I will walk around the park every Friday at 5p
By setting small goals that are easily attainable it helps you be more successful.
Knowing what that goal is and having a set completion date is statistically proven to make it more likely that you will reach your goal, it helps motivate you towards something versus a generalization of "I want to be healthier in the new year"
As you accomplish each goal you will want to set and tackle the next one and if you compound your goals/habits on top of each other they will ultimately lead to an even bigger overall goal you might be setting for yourself.
