🔬 Friday was full of scientific thinking in Ms. Pritchett’s 5th grade classes! 🧪✨

Our young scientists explored mass, volume, and relative density through the Lots of Liquid Lab. Students made observations, compared different liquids, and used hands-on investigation to deepen their understanding of the properties of matter.

Learning was definitely in action in 5th grade! 🦛🧡

We’re excited to share a special opportunity for our military-connected students and students of first responders at this year’s Freedom Game on Friday, August 28.

Each year, we take time to recognize and honor our veterans, active-duty military members, and first responders at our annual Freedom Game. This year, we’ve been given the opportunity to also recognize our military-connected students and students of first responders during the pregame ceremony.

During the pregame recognition, veterans, active-duty military members, first responders, military-connected students, and students of first responders will be recognized on the track as their military branch or first responder group is announced. Anyone participating in the recognition should arrive by 6:00 p.m.

We have 100 complimentary ticket vouchers available specifically for military-connected students and students of first responders who would like to participate in the pregame recognition. Students using a ticket voucher must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Upon arrival, families who secured the free ticket vouchers will need to check in at the Parent & Family Engagement booth to receive their free ticket voucher. The booth will be set up at the front of the stadium.

Important admission information:

Military-connected students and students of first responders may receive one of the 100 complimentary ticket vouchers by registering via the link below.
Students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Veterans, active-duty military members, and first responders receive free admission with a valid military ID or employee ID/badge. They do not need to register for a free ticket voucher.
Everyone participating in the pregame recognition should arrive by 6:00 p.m.

Eligible students can use the Freedom Game - Military Connected & First Responder Student form to register and secure one of the complimentary tickets. The form will close once all 100 ticket vouchers have been claimed or at the end of the day on August 26, 2026, whichever comes first.

✨ Today marked our first Shine Time with our RES grade-level teams! 🦛🧡

Our staff collaborated, set meeting norms, began analyzing student data, and shared instructional strategies—all with one goal in mind: creating the best learning opportunities for every student.

I am incredibly proud of the work that began today and excited to see how it grows throughout the year. This is how we learn, lead, grow, and SHINE! ☀️✨
