Our busy week continues!

Today we spent the day visiting all five Cordovan Art Studio locations for their summer kids camp. This year's theme was "Talk with the Animals," and the campers got to meet snakes, lizards, and even a turtle up close.

The kids asked great questions, learned about some amazing reptiles, and got the chance to see these animals in a whole new light. Hopefully we inspired a few future herpetologists along the way!

Now it's time for the artists to get to work. We can't wait to see all the reptile-inspired drawings, paintings, and sculptures they create. If there are any masterpieces featuring our scaly friends, we definitely want to see them! 💚🐍🐸🐊🐢🦎

We are kicking off the busiest week of the year!

Today's adventure takes the crew to a reptile program for a wonderful 55+ community. It will be a refreshing change of pace for our animal ambassadors, who are much more accustomed to dodging enthusiastic little hands than visiting with seasoned animal lovers.

We're looking forward to a fun day of sharing reptiles, answering questions, and proving that a fascination with reptiles has no age limit. Stay tuned for more updates as we make our way through this very busy week!

Happy World Turtle Day from some of the shelled stars of Austin Reptile Service, LLC!

Today we are celebrating Walnut, Peanut Butter, and Biscotti, three amazing ambassadors who help us teach people that turtles are so much more than just cute faces and tiny shells. They each have their own personalities, favorite snacks, and ways of reminding us to slow down and appreciate the world around us.

Turtles and tortoises play incredibly important roles in ecosystems around the world, but many species face threats from habitat loss, pollution, roadways, and the illegal pet trade. One of the best ways to help wildlife is by learning about them, respecting wild turtles where they belong, and protecting the habitats they depend on.

If you see a turtle crossing the road today, help it safely in the direction it was already heading if you can do so safely. Small acts of kindness can make a huge difference.
