+ 3 mph average velocity in one month.

By changing how an athlete presents outside the circle, you can likely gain access to positions and strength they already possess. After six months of trying to regain the speeds she hit last fall, she came in for a pitching evaluation. She had above-average power (2.5 times her body weight force production) and consistent strength training. However, complete testing revealed a lack of left hip stability, an overused and compressed shoulder complex, and a pitching start that split energy in opposite directions with little to no weight transfer into the front (right) hip/leg.

Addressing the muscular and tissue issues outside her pitch allowed us to gain better reference and sensation of her body’s position during drill work. This enabled her to finally “feel” where she was in space during her pitch.

The results? Always the same. More optimal body outside the circle, more optimal opportunity to coach in the circle. As you can see, there is still plenty left to work through to break the months of “compensation reps” that should feel great. Another raised ceiling.

🚨 Performance Training🚨

I’ll have 5 openings for remote strength work due to athletes entering college.

Remote Strength programming provides flexibility and convenience for families and athletes who can’t come in person and/or have home gyms or nearby facilities.

So whether you’re 30 minutes away or across the world, I can help.

What makes my programming different?

⚡️ Experience

Not only do I understand travel ball schedules and seasons, but I’ve programmed at the highest levels including multiple P4 university teams and NBA player James Harden.

The importance of when and why you add/subtract volume and exercise is the biggest key to years of continued development.
